Imagine Graphics, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Stephen Guy in San Jose, California. Having worked in sales and marketing for 10 years "Steve" saw a need for design that catered to the local business market and non-profits. After working for Fortune 500 companies for 10 years Steve found most of the marketing 
materials produced by the typical "Home Office back east" were very classy, expensive, beautiful to behold, etc. etc.
Unfortunately, home office and the ad agency (to whom literally millions of dollars were spent) were often out of touch with the local market ...especially in California. During his tenure with the Fortune 500 firms, Steve began to develop his own sales and marketing materials and found what worked and what did not. Leveraging his early artistic training and right brained skills from hibernation Steve began to have people call him asking for his help with design and marketing materials. After several years of this, Steve decided to pursue the opportunity that this new career would provide and began Imagine Graphics in Jan 1997.
A second designer was added in 1999 and the company expanded to include web based media and design. In 2001 Imagine Graphics began to use the dba "imagineGrafx" and the logo was changed accordingly. Incidentally the new logo was one of many subsequently chosen to be published in a prestigious trade book on logo designs in America!
Imagine Graphics incorporated in January 2004 and also began using the dba Sportgrafx. The mother ship of the company is Imagine Graphics, Inc. and the two dbas used in day to day operations are: imagineGrafx and Sportgrafx.
Today Imagine Graphics, Inc. continues to persue our market in the corporate world providing logo design and all types of corporate collateral. In addition we continue to work with non-profits in a way that allow them to produce professional materials without making Imagine Graphics, Inc. a "non-profit" firm!
Our latest ventures are in the areas of sport graphics and photography. Realizing that we can not be all things to all people, Imagine Graphics, Inc. has partnered with several associates who provide us the services we need in these new fields. While we continue to develop the creative ideas and are the driving force for conceptual and artistic designs, we utilize a number of associates in the production and implementation of our sports products and photography services.
